Ellianos Coffee, the Lake City-based and founded drive-thru kiosk chain, is in permitting review for a site at 8700 Beach Blvd., west of Southside Boulevard.

It could be the chain’s 18th location opened or planned in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.

No contractor is listed for the estimated $700,000 project to build an 820-square-foot building on 0.75 acre.

Studio Sogo Architecture & Interiors of Atlanta is the architect. The Harvest Venture Group Inc. of Jacksonville is the project owner.

Jacksonville power provider JEA issued a service availability letter Nov. 21 for the site. It said an auto window-tinting shop previously operated at the site and was demolished.

The location is at southwest Beach Boulevard and Killarney Drive, west of the Walmart Supercenter and across Beach from Gates of the Promenade, which is a shopping center anchored by Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets.

The letter was sent to JBrown Professional Group Inc., which operates as JBPro, of Gainesville.

The Duval County Property Appraiser shows the vacant site is owned by A to Z Nail Supply of Jax LLC.

Ellianos.com shows 10 shops operating in Northeast Florida in Duval, where there are five; Clay, with two; Nassau, with two; and one in St. Johns counties.

The site shows three more coming soon. Two are in Duval County along Atlantic Boulevard, with one of those in the Regency area and the other near Girvin Road. The third is listed in Keystone Heights in Clay County.

Regulatory filings and permitting records show five more as possible. Those comprise two in Duval County and one each in Clay and St. Johns counties along with one returning to Baker County.

Ellianos Coffee is planned on 0.72 acres at 8700 Beach Blvd. at Killarney Drive west of the Walmart Supercenter and across Beach from Gates of the Promenade, which is a shopping center anchored by Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets.
