Jacksonville-based contractor HomeRite Windows and Doors has opened a retail showroom, offering customers a chance to view its products in a 6,000-square-foot space.
The company held a ribbon-cutting March 31 for the new showroom at 8081 Philips Highway, Suite 1.
Gates Dearen, founding owner of HomeRite, said in a news release that the retail space offered customers an opportunity to visualize the company’s products in their own homes.
“While our home office and operational center, also located in Jacksonville, remain open for customers to come in and make purchases, we encourage anyone starting their window and door purchase journey to visit our new showroom to see the highest quality products on the market and to find inspiration for their own spaces from the innovative styles, sizes, and aesthetic options on display,” Dearen said.
The homeritejacksonville.com site listed hours for the showroom as 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
In December, the city issued a build-out permit for HomeRite Windows and Doors for 5,321 square feet at 8081 Philips Highway at a project cost of $240,530. RLH Construction LLC was the contractor.
According to the release, brands on display in the new showroom include PGT Windows and Doors, MI Windows and Doors, WINDOOR, Therma-Tru Doors, Plastpro Doors, Neuma Doors and more.
Products on display include 10-foot pivot doors, 10-foot-tall glass folding and sliding doors, 90-degree sliding glass doors and 20 entry door displays.
The release said walk-in customers are welcome and appointments are available.
