Nonstop service between Toronto and Jacksonville International Airport is scheduled to return this spring, according to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority and confirmed by the airline’s website.
The Air Canada website shows flights to Toronto from JIA beginning May 27 with one-way fares starting at $320 for an economy seat.
JAA CEO Mark VanLoh confirmed the Canadian airline’s return Feb. 2 at a JAA board meeting.

Aircanada.com shows the first nonstop flight from Toronto to Jacksonville is scheduled for May 26.
After the May 27 flight, the outbound service from Jacksonville will operate Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Oct. 24, according to aircanada.com. Departure time from JIA is 10:20 a.m.
“This is important for a number of reasons,” Greg Willis, a JAA spokesperson, said. “The first is, it gives us international service to Canada, which is great as we try to grow Canadian tourism in Northeast Florida.”
“The other thing that’s really important with this flight is that it’s timed so that it connects in Toronto to places in Europe, to places in Asia.”
Air Canada said in an email that the service is seasonal.
"Our service is seasonal reflecting market demand, which changes during the year with greater local and connecting traffic in the summer months," it said.
Air Canada originally operated a Jacksonville-to-Toronto route from May 2016 through April 2019. It resumed in Jacksonville on May 22, 2025 and went on hiatus on Oct. 25 later that year.
No official explanation was provided for the direct service pause by JAA or Air Canada.
