Pinnacle Financial Partners is moving forward with plans to expand its Ponte Vedra office into a full-service bank.
St. Johns County issued a permit Jan. 27 for the project at a build-out cost of about $1.33 million.
Jacksonville-based Auld & White Constructors is the contractor for the 7,100-square-foot project at 100 Corridor Road, Suites 100 and 101, south of The Fresh Market off Florida A1A.
Pinnacle spokesperson Joe Bass said construction would start on the Ponte Vedra expansion in the coming weeks, but that there isn’t a timeline for completion.
Horizon Group at Pinnacle Asset Management has operated there since May 2024. It is Pinnacle’s unit for financial planning, investment management and securities trading and execution.
“This expansion marks a significant milestone for Pinnacle as we deepen our roots in the Ponte Vedra community,” said Scott Keith, regional president for Pinnacle, in a May news release.
“The expanded space will allow for greater client engagement, expanded banking services, and a robust team of financial professionals dedicated to meeting the needs of the Ponte Vedra community.”
Pinnacle entered North Florida in late 2023 when it hired a team to open an office at 501 Riverside Ave., Suite 600, in the Brooklyn area of Downtown Jacksonville.
It began operations in a location in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, in October 2000 and as of 2026 has $119.1 billion in total assets.
It is the second-largest bank holding company in Tennessee and operates in primarily urban markets across the Southeast in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
