• There will be plenty of holiday cheer at this week’s First Wednesday Art Walk. You can participate in a candlelight sing-along at Hemming Plaza or take a horse-and-carriage ride through Downtown. Also on the slate is a custom toy show hosted by the American Institute of Graphic Artists in the gallery upstairs at 229 N. Hogan St. There’s also a 6:30 p.m. screening of the holiday film “Elf” starring Will Farrell at Snyder Memorial Church. Next door, Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be greeting guests at Visit Jacksonville’s welcome center.
