Florida State College at Jacksonville’s first student housing is open in the Lerner Building.
Florida State College at Jacksonville’s first student-residents will begin moving into their new suites this week.
After the renovation of the historic Lerner Building at 20 W. Adams St., the college is offering housing near the Downtown Campus for up to 58 students.
Three- and four-bedroom suites are $3,375 or $3,600 per term for the fall and spring term; $2,250 or $2,400 for the summer term per resident.
The suites have two ADA-compliant bathrooms (one private, one shared) and furnished living and kitchen areas.
The residences are on the second through sixth floors of the building.
The college’s 20West Cafe, a classroom for the culinary arts and hospitality program that’s open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday, is on the ground floor.
Nineteen students already have reserved rooms for the fall term, said FSCJ Director of Marketing and Communications Jill Johnson.
