Downtown Vision’s First Wednesday Art Walk was a celebration of Hispanic heritage for the October edition Wednesday. The Latin community gathered for music, dancing, food and art during the monthly tour of Downtown art galleries and shops.Thousands of people started and ended their evening stroll at Hemming Plaza, where in addition to the usual artists’ tents, a variety of Latin foods was also available. Many people danced in front of the stage on Laura Street, which was closed in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Main Library for the festivities.
