Calex Realty Group Inc. is joining forces with WRH Realty Services Inc.

Calex Realty Group Inc. is one of the largest full-service property management and consulting firms in northeast Florida, specializing in multifamily and commercial real estate and managing a portfolio of apartment communities. Calex also manages Condominium Associations in Florida.

WRH Realty Services Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of WRH Income Properties Inc., which also owns WRH Mortgage Inc. and WRH Properties Inc. The intention of the transaction is to combine two companies and capitalize on combined experience and management techniques. Calex will become a wholly owned subsidiary of WRH Realty Services Inc. and will remain in the current offices at 3020 Hartley Road in Jacksonville.

Together, the combined company will manage nearly 14,000 apartment homes and condominium units throughout Florida, Texas, Tennessee and South Carolina.

Cynthia A. Lucas will remain a senior officer of Calex as a senior vice president with direct supervision over the existing Calex portfolio. Brian T. Davies will remain vice president. In addition, J. Mark Rutledge will be the company president along with Eric F.J. Boschmans, senior vice president; Sharon K. Carbaugh, senior vice president; Grahame Brown, vice president of construction services and John Withers as assistant vice president.
