Jacksonville Jazz Festival canceled

City says VIP ticket purchases will be refunded within 2 weeks.

In response to ongoing COVID-19 health concerns, the 40th annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival scheduled May 21-24, Memorial Day weekend, is canceled, according to a news release distributed April 14 by city spokeswoman Nikki Kimbleton.

The announcement also is posted on the festival’s website and Facebook page.

VIP ticket purchases will be automatically refunded to the purchaser’s original method of payment within two weeks, according to the release.
