The Petsense pet products retailer intends to open at 6765 Dunn Ave. next to Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets in Dunn Village.
The city is reviewing a permit for Petsense, which is owned by Tractor Supply Co., to renovate a 6,220-square-foot space at an estimated cost of $300,000.
Petsense has 178 stores in 23 states as of Dec. 25, 2021, including one in Middleburg. It has about 15 stores in Florida.
The company sells “Earth-friendly pet foods, treats, toys and cleaning supplies,” according to petsense.com. It also offers grooming and other services. It posted job openings for store manager, team lead, team members, groom tech and groomer.
