Southside Commons in the Regency area of Arlington is adding another retailer, DTLR, a streetwear and sneakers chain that has seven area locations.
The city is reviewing a permit application for an estimated $250,000 renovation of about 7,516 square feet of space at 651 Commerce Center Drive, Unit 525.
The shopping center is at southeast Southside Connector and Tredinick Parkway, north of the former Regency Square Mall, now called The Nexus at Regency.
Jacksonville-based Sleiman Enterprises is the landlord at Southside Commons, which is anchored by The Church of Eleven22, Planet Fitness, Michaels and Ross Dress for Less.

NRG Adventure Park is identified as the tenant for the 80,000-square-foot closed Bealls Store.
DTLR has four Northeast Florida stores at Gateway Town Center, Highland Square and River City Marketplace in Jacksonville and in Orange Park Mall in Clay County.
DTLR CG locations, which were City Gear stores bought by DTLR, operate in Anchor Plaza, Normandy Village and Santa Monica Center.
Based in Hanover, Maryland, DTLR operates more than 400 stores in 26 states.
DTLR.com describes the company as “your go-to destination for streetwear, sportswear, and sneakers.”
Brands include Nike sneakers, Air Jordan retro styles, adidas shoes and New Balance sneakers, along with apparel and accessories for men, women and children.
“DTLR offers the latest styles from the biggest brands in streetwear and athletic fashion,” it says.
