Retail notes: Signs approved for Champs Sports in Regency Pointe; Goodwill planned in Oakleaf

 The city approved permits for four signs for Champs Sports at 9402 Arlington Expressway in the Regency Pointe shopping center.

Taylor Sign & Design Inc. is the contractor for the $4,500 project.

Champs is expected to move from Regency Square Mall to the new address, where it will lease 6,350 square feet, according to a Regency Pointe leasing flyer.

CVS on Dunn: CVS intends to renovate its pharmacy at 1190 Dunn Ave. at a cost of $105,159. The city is reviewing a permit application.

Construction in Gateway Village: Gateway Village at Town Center is preparing to add a 9,324-square-foot, multitenant building on 1.5 acres at 10618 Deerwood Park Blvd. North Coast Construction is the contractor for the $1.13 million project.

Prime Car Wash on Beach: The city is reviewing site plans for Prime Car Wash at 14190 Beach Blvd. at Washburn Road for property owner Sea Lion Real Estate LLC. Plans show an 11,212-square-foot building on 1.74 acres, near San Pablo Road. 

Goodwill in Oakleaf and Westside: The city issued a permit for Bush Construction Co. Inc.  to build and complete an almost 16,500-square-foot building at 6046 Wesconnett Blvd. in West Jacksonville for Goodwill at $2.5 million. The city also is reviewing a permit for Target Contractors Inc. to build an almost 16,500-square-foot building on 1.62 acres at 8460 Merchants Way in Oakleaf Station in Southwest Jacksonville at a construction cost of $913,585.
