Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets adjusted its hours to 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

It had operated 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Owner Rob Rowe changed opening to 9 a.m. and now cut another hour at closing.

Supermarkets have been trimming hours for cleaning and for restocking shelves depleted by shoppers who are keeping their pantries full during the new coronavirus outbreak.

“The supply chain is severely stressed to say the least,” Rowe said early March 19.

Rowe’s operates five stores in Northeast Florida.
