Whataburger proposed at Regency Park in Arlington

The site is one of at least four prototype locations identified in Northeast Florida.

Ready for another new Whataburger?

Add to the list of new restaurants one proposed in the Regency Park Shopping Center in Arlington.

JEA received a utility service availability request for Whataburger to build at 9400 Atlantic Blvd.

The 3,198-square-foot restaurant and double-drive-thru is proposed on 1.06 acres fronting Atlantic Boulevard, east of the shopping center entrance and east of Chick-fil-A.

The franchisee is Silvercreek Group LLC. The agent is Sevan Multi-Site Solutions of Downers Grove, Illinois. 

Silvercreek Group says on silvercreekgroup.com it is a family owned Whataburger franchisee that is developing locations in the greater Jacksonville market “and are working towards growing more sites to better serve you.”

Whataburger has at least eight locations in Northeast Florida and has indicated plans for new prototypes:

The new ones include:

• 8325 Southside Blvd. at southeast Southside Boulevard and Baymeadows Road. The 3,214-square-foot restaurant is planned on about 1 acre between Walgreens and AutoZone.

• 6733 103rd St. in West Jacksonville on a shopping center outparcel that is used as overflow parking.

• A 3,000-square-foot Whataburger at the site of a bank building to be demolished at 105 CBL Drive in Cobblestone Village in St. Augustine. 

 Others with the new design are in development at 11559 Atlantic Blvd. and at 10600 San Jose Blvd.
