Your photo is one of the best and most powerful marketing tools that you have as a residential agent.

You want to make sure that you include a great photo of yourself on your business cards and on all of your marketing materials.

You want your clients and prospects to form solid relationships with you.

When you are not there with them in person your photo will do the work for you.

Your clients and prospects simply will feel more connected with you over time when they continually see a photo of you along with the marketing and prospecting materials that you send to them. When all you send to them is words on paper, it is more difficult for them to feel a connection to you as a human being.

And it is the connection that we feel with the people in our lives that has us want to do business with them.

Keeping this in mind, have a professional photo taken of yourself. You may want to have several different photos taken in different poses. Some will be head shots and some will be full-body shots. This allows for more of a dynamic effect when you include different photos of yourself on different mailings that you send out.

Make sure that the photos and the expression on your face in them conveys the message about you that you want your clients and prospects to perceive. As you are looking at several different photos of yourself ask yourself the question, “Which of these photos looks like the person I would want to have be my real estate agent?”

That very photo may be the best one for you to send to your clients and prospects.
