Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront announced it will feature live stand-up comedy performances beginning in May 2026 in partnership with a production company that operates in Las Vegas, Orlando and other sites across the United States.

The hotel said in a news release that it had partnered with Bonkerz Comedy Productions to launch the Bonkerz Comedy Series – Jacksonville, bringing live performances on select Fridays and Saturdays to the Northbank property at 225 Coastline Drive.
Kate De Master, director of sales and marketing at the hotel, said in the release that the shows will “transform our hotel into a vibrant comedy club experience, giving guests a chance to enjoy top touring talent alongside great food and beverage offerings, with a brand-new entertainment experience in the heart of downtown.”

Bonkerz Comedy Productions was founded in Milwaukee and moved to Orlando in 1987, according to its website.
In addition to Las Vegas, it operates in casinos elsewhere in Nevada and in California, Maryland, Michigan and West Virginia. It lists six locations in Florida, including Jacksonville.
Performers highlighted on the company’s homepage include Las Vegas-based Murray Sawchuck, also known as Murray the Magician, and Jim Florentine. The featured comics listed on the home page include Helen Hong, a frequent guest on the National Public Radio news quiz show “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me,” and Mike Rivera, who was voted America’s Most Hilarious Teacher on the ABC talk show “The View.”

Rivera is scheduled to perform May 30 in the new Jacksonville series.
The website lists “alumni” comedians with connections to the company’s founder and president, Joe Sanfelippo, as Carrot Top, Larry The Cable Guy, “Mike and Molly” star Billy Gardell, Saturday Night Live’s Darrell Hammond, the late Sam Kinison and others.
Showtimes for the Jacksonville series are 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. Shows will be in the River Terrace 1 event space, according to a hotel spokesperson.

Seating will be limited, and attendance is limited to guests 21 and older.
Admission is $15 per person in advance and $20 the day of show. A two-item minimum purchase requirement will be in effect per person, with food and a full bar available during performances.
