NEFAR celebrates with a touchdown

For André Boutte’s installation as president of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, he chose a football theme complete with a referee, commentators, pompons and noisemakers for the guests.

“We have a great new team coming on in 2004,” said Boutte. “We have several veterans returning and we also have several new rookies. The board of directors and I are pleased with your vote of confidence to serve and lead you in 2004 and we look forward to the challenge.”

Outgoing President Selby Kaiser of Prudential Network Realty reviewed the year and all the accomplishments the association made.

“I want to thank you for a wonderful year representing you,” said Kaiser. “I take special pride in the recognition that our association gets state wide and nationally. We have consistently stepped up to the plate meeting challenges and change and we are keeping our organization ahead of the game.”

During the event, which was held at the Jacksonville Marriott, other members of the board were also installed including Kay Sietzinger of Re/Max Coastal Real Estate as treasurer and Sherry Davidson of Davidson Realty as secretary. Linda Sherrer

of Prudential Network Realty is the president-elect, but was unable to attend the event.
