Atlantic Builders/Mattamy Homes’ newest model home, The St. Simon, is now under construction in Cannons Point and scheduled to open this fall. Cannons Point is one of the collection of neighborhoods in OakLeaf Plantation and five homes are currently under construction for buyers who want to purchase for quick move-in.
The St. Simon floor plan that includes four bedrooms, two baths and a bonus suite above the two-car garage. The extra suite, which includes a third bath and large walk-in closet, is designed to function equally well as a bedroom suite, home office or children’s playroom.
The home is entered through an arched entry. There is a combined living/dining area which leads to the gathering room, which is the focal point of the home. Built-in shelves flank the gas fireplace and create a showcase for books, electronic equipment and decorative treatments.
The kitchen is fully open to the gathering room and has a doorway that provides easy access to the formal dining room. For less formal meals, ther is a breakfast area or a casual eating ledge. To the rear of the bathroom is the entrance to the suite’s large walk-in closet. Outside the bath, the sleeping area is situated beneath a tray ceiling.
Three additional bedrooms and a large second bath complete the downstairs. Each has ample closet space and is wired for cable TV and phone. A stairway to the bonus suite sits alongside the laundry room. The bonus suite includes its own full bathroom, a large walk-in closet and natural light that filters through the large arched window.
The St. Simon with bonus suite begins in the low $200s and is one of four new floor plans that are available at Cannons Point in OakLeaf Plantation. Prices for new homes in Cannons Point begin in the low $140s and range in size from 1,404 up to 2,475 square feet. The neighborhood has its own park and a limited number of waterfront homesites.
