Just before Halloween Palencia hosted the annual Make Your Own Scarecrow party at McKinnzie Park in Sebastian Square. The event brought out families and kids from the Hines master planned community located between Jacksonville and St. Augustine on US Highway 1. Palencia Realty provided refreshments and supplies, while the children brought plenty of energy and enthusiasm. The party is seen as the official kickoff to the fall season in the community.
