• A sign was approved for iPho Vietnamese Cuisine in the Hodges Plaza at 13799 Beach Blvd., No. 1. Corporate records filed July 25 show Xinh Nguyen as president and Lisa Nguyen as vice president of iPho Vietnamese Restaurant Inc. at the address. A sign on the door says it will open soon.

• Sweet Revolution Baking Co. has changed its name to Sweet Theory Baking Co. Owner Katie Riehm posted on the bakery’s Facebook page — Sweet Theory Baking Co. — that a caramel company had the “revolution” name and she decided to change the name of her business. The Riverside area business will feature sweet treats with all-natural, allergy-free ingredients. That means doughnuts, cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, muffins and breakfast items free of egg, dairy, soy and peanut ingredients. Many of the products also will be gluten-free. The bakery should open in a few weeks.

• The City issued a permit for interior remodeling for Starbucks Coffee Co. at 1650 Margaret St., Suite 301. Elfrink Custom Construction Inc. will handle the 1,659-square-foot, $30,000 project. The Starbucks is at Margaret Street and Riverside Avenue.
