As indicators across the industry are showing signs of growth and recovery, many local experts agree events like NEFBA's Construction Industry Trade Expo on March 14, now in its 46th year, foster confidence and demonstrate resilience among trades and services related to construction.

Each year, NEFBA's associate members put their best products and services on display for the construction professionals in Northeast Florida. And every year, new contacts are made, businesses are bolstered and the tone is set for a successful year.

"I can't think of a better way for our associate members to make those all-important connections with residential and commercial builders and developers," said NEFBA President Dennis Ginder. "We draw beyond our member base, and that's good for everyone. Anyone involved in any aspect of the construction industry needs to be there – either as an exhibitor or as a supporter of the industry."

Admission to the Expo is free. It's the single largest show of its kind in Northeast Florida and always has a large turnout.

The Expo is once again the site of the NEFBA carpenter apprentice nail-driving contest.

"The nail-driving contest is always fun to watch," said Keith Ward, NEFBA training vice president and chair of the apprentice committee. "Watching these young men and women compete reminds us all of the skill and training required to make our products. And, it's good exposure for NEFBA's apprentice program, which has trained thousands of carpenters, electricians, plumbers and heating and air technicians since 1944."

Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity. Keep up to date on new products, innovative services and state-of-the-art advances in technology. Housed in the University of North Florida University Center, there's plenty of elbow room as you visit booths, make new connections and say hello to long-time friends and colleagues. Food and beverages will be available, too.

Contact Jamie Atkins (725-4355; [email protected]) for booth availability, sponsorships and exhibitors. Check the NEFBA Web site for frequent updates…www.nefba.com.
