FHBA Senior Officer Jerry Linder of St. Augustine was honored by leaders of the Florida Legislature last month for “blitz-building” a Habitat for Humanity home in Tallahassee in a single week.
The home, themed “The House That the House Built” was the project of the Florida House of Representatives and Rep. Daniel Davis (R-Jacksonville), who saluted Linder at FHBA’s Spring Legislative Conference, presenting a framed photo of the cover of the Tallahassee Democrat which featured the home and the new homeowner Cookie Ashby.
Linder is owner of Vintage Homes in Tallahassee and the J.L. Linder Group in St. Augustine.
Financial contributors to the home included the Florida Home Builders Association, Florida Home Builders Insurance, Inc., Tampa Bay BA, Lee BIA, Tallahassee BA, HBA of West Florida, HBA of Metro Orlando, Collier BIA, and FHBA CEO Paul Thompson and his wife Marilyn.
