Recruiting new members is an activity recognized and rewarded through NAHB’s Spike Club. Those who participate are called Spikes, and they are among the most valued members of the association.

Member-to-member recruitment and retention efforts are the largest source of growth at the local and national levels. Spikes bring grassroots growth and stability. Spikes are membership leaders, building the voice, power and influence on every level, in every state.

Members earn one credit for each new member sponsored, and a half credit when members they’ve sponsored renew.
