NEFBA is pleased to introduce its new membership director, Dana J. McIntyre.

McIntyre is no stranger to NEFBA through her involvement with several local trade associations, including NEFBA, while responsible for business development at Duval Asphalt Products. She was also an account manager with the JAX Chamber.

McIntyre joined NEFBA Jan. 6. Her proven track record of exceeding goals and increasing revenues made her an ideal candidate. Her ability to identify and secure new members while with the JAX Chamber bodes well for NEFBA. She sold chamber memberships to businesses, and she had a 90 percent closing ratio.

“We are fortunate to have someone with Dana’s strong business background and project leadership experience,” said Corey Deal, NEFBA executive director. “Dana comes highly recommended for her ability to deliver on time, on budget and beyond expectations. We are looking forward to having her creative approach and strategic business skills help us build membership.”

McIntyre was educated locally, attending Edward H. White High School and Florida State College at Jacksonville. She is a graduate of the Sandler Sales Institute President’s Club, a professional development program for advanced sales strategies and tactics.

McIntyre volunteers as a coach for Community Connections, a not-for-profit organization that assists working homeless and low-income women, children and families in Northeast Florida.

The mother of two sons, Jared (12) and Jackson (14), McIntyre is planning a fall wedding with fiancé Matt Doody. The marriage will create a blended family of five children with the addition of Kristen (14), Kevin (16) and Kelly (20) Doody.
