Kevin Sbraga, a celebrity chef and winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef” season seven, will open his first restaurant outside of Philadelphia at 220 Riverside, which is under development in the Brooklyn area of Downtown.
NAI Hallmark Partners, the developer of 220 Riverside, worked with restaurant consultant VSAG — Vucurevich Simons Advisory Group — to search for a restaurateur. Hallmark’s team visited Sbraga’s award-winning restaurants Sbraga and The Fat Ham in Philadelphia, and Sbraga spent time in Jacksonville.
“Jacksonville’s coastal location and warm climate provide a vibrant selection of quality local ingredients to to work with, and I’m looking forward to incorporating them into the menu I’m developing,” Sbraga said in a news release.
The restaurant, not yet named, will open early next year.
