The St. Johns Builders Council, in partnership with AmVets and the St. Johns Housing Partnership, constructed a wheelchair ramp at the home of Joseph Wallace in Flagler Estates. Wallace is an Air Force veteran who served as a military policeman in the 1960s. He has been disabled for 10 years, needs a cane to walk and will soon be in a wheelchair. We extend a special thank you to students from Pedro Menendez High School, SJBC members Mike Davis, Bill Lazar, Robert Marshall and Bryson Hendricks, and Adina Construction’s Jason Miner and Eddie Meeks for donating their time and resources to build the ramp for Wallace.
