It’s that time of year again. School is back in session, the days are getting shorter and people are beginning to talk about the fourth quarter.
Those are signs of the times and can mean only one thing — exciting events on the NEFBA calendar. Two in particular I would like you to notice and plan to attend.
First, is the annual Beast Feast. That’s your once-a-year chance to meet our elected officials and endorsed candidates.
It’s an opportunity to say “thank you” for supporting our industry. And it’s a time to get to know them better, and to let them become better acquainted with you.
There’s plenty of great food and drinks, probably even a cigar or two if you are so inclined. Much more than a social event, this is an important relationship builder.

And NEFBA’s main event — the annual Gala — is Friday, Nov. 7. The Gala is our blow-out fundraiser, and it seems to get better every year.
This year is a landmark year for NEFBA. We’re celebrating 70 years of service to the industry and the community. For this birthday bash, we’re pulling out all the stops.
The grand prize is a three-year lease on a Ford F-150. Your evening will include a dinner buffet, open bar (soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits), live entertainment, casino games, silent auction and prizes throughout the evening.
