SJBC golf tourney to help children's agency

The St. Johns Builders Council’s annual charity golf tournament is next month.

The event will be Oct. 20 at Marsh Creek Country Club, 169 Marshside Drive, St Augustine. Registration deadline is Oct. 13.

The tournament benefits St. Augustine Youth Services, celebrating 25 years of serving children. It is sponsored by Bozard Ford.

On the day of the tournament, lunch begins at 11 a.m., with tee time at noon.

Entry fee is $85 per player or $325 per foursome.

The entry fee ncludes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, boxed lunch, goodie bags and an awards banquet.

Awards are given for first and second place, highest score, longest drive, closest to the pin and many more categories.
