Mark your calendars and sign up early for what many consider the best outdoor event on the calendar.
The annual NEFBA Apprenticeship Sporting Clay Shoot-Out, presented by The Rusty Muskets, is scheduled for Feb. 12 at the Bradford Sportsmen’s Farm.
Sporting clays, unlike skeet and trap, requires shooters to move from station to station to shoot at clay targets.
The challenge and the ever-changing shooting scenarios make this sport very popular.
And Bradford Sportsmen’s Farm offers some of the best and most diverse shooting facilities available to the public in one site.
Sporting clays courses are designed to accommodate all shooter skill levels.
The cost for an afternoon of sporting clays is $100 per shooter, $350 per foursome. The fee covers 100 targets and lunch. Shooters provide their own guns and eye- and hearing-protection. Proceeds benefit the Apprenticeship Program.
One lucky raffle winner will go home with a Weatherby Orion 12-gauge over and under, 26-inch barrel shotgun and a gun case.
Sponsorships are still available from $150 to $1,000. Join these sponsors who have already signed on in support of the Apprenticeship Program.
