The Clay Builders Council held its annual Christmas and installation party Dec. 12 at the home of Trish Kolosky. Jeff Ferguson of Drees Homes was installed as chair along with board members Mike Dallas, Trish Kolosky, Cathy Whaley and Angie Michalak.

The Clay Builders were also busy serving the community and joining in Christmas celebrations. CBC members entered a float in the Green Cove Springs Christmas Parade Dec. 5, and they helped distribute food baskets to Clay County residents the weekend before Christmas.

This year nearly 450 volunteers including Boy Scouts from Troop 424 pitched in to collect food, fill 100 boxes and distribute to families selected on an as-needed basis. Residents are selected by the Pantry with input from local churches. Pick up was at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Green Cove Springs.
