People on the Move: JTA board officers approved, Ransom to Baptist Health

 The Jacksonville Transportation Authority board approved officer positions for 2020.

• Kevin Holzendorf, an account manager at Cisco Systems  Inc.,  will serve a second term as board chair 
• Ari Jolly, assistant general counsel at Florida Blue, will remain as board vice chair
• Debbie Buckland, market president for Truist Financial Corp., will be board secretary
• Ray Driver, founding partner of Driver, McAfee, Hawthorne & Diebenow, will serve as board treasurer.

Also serving on the seven-member board are Isaiah Rumlin, owner of Rumlin Insurance Agency; Greg Evans, District 2 secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation; and Nicole Padgett, chief administrative officer of Summit Contracting Group.

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund trustees elected theologian the Rev. Jennifer Bailey as an individual trustee to serve an initial five-year term starting in January. Bailey is an ordained minister and founder and executive director of the Faith Matters Network. She is an ordained itinerant elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and serves on the staff of Greater Bethel AME Church in Nashville, Tennessee. She joins five fund trustees. Two trustees retired in 2019.

Baptist Health appointed Dr. Elizabeth Ransom to the new role of executive vice president and chief physician executive. Since 2012, she served as executive vice president and clinical leader for the North Zone of Texas Health Resources, comprising nine hospitals, eight ambulatory surgery centers and more than 2,000 physicians. 

Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Brandon Patty as St. Johns County Clerk of Court and Comptroller after the resignation of Hunter Conrad for the term ending in November. Patty, of St. Augustine, has been the director of operations of Defenshield Inc. since 2016. He previously was a senior consultant at Deloitte. Patty has been a U.S. Navy Reserve Officer since 2008 and was deployed during Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.

Keith Lechwar joined Corporate Traffic Logistics as marketing and communications manager. He is responsible for strategic marketing and communications. Lechwar was senior account supervisor with the Dalton Agency and has more than 20 years of experience in marketing with The CSI Cos., Kreinest + Associates and Landers & Partners.
