BBVA Foundation grants to boost entrepreneurs

Jacksonville nonprofits serving small businesses and entrepreneurs gain $39,000.

The BBVA Foundation provided grants totaling $30,000 to Jacksonville nonprofits serving small businesses and entrepreneurs: $10,000 to the University of North Florida Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation; $10,000 to the JAX Chamber Entrepreneurial Growth Division; and $10,000 to the Beaver Street Enterprise Center.

UNF will use the grant to support the 14 entrepreneurs in the center.

JAX Chamber will use its money to support the division. Beaver Street will use its grant to support facility repairs and updates.
