■ The University of North Florida named William F. “Chip” Klostermeyer dean of the College of Computing, Engineering & Construction.

He joined UNF in 2001 as a professor of computer science and assumed the interim dean role in October 2018.

He leads 60 faculty and thousands of students in the School of Computing, School of Engineering, Department of Construction Management, Materials Science and Engineering Research Facility, Center for the Advancement of Women in Engineering and the Taylor Engineering Research Institute.

■ Wells Fargo executive John Duce is the 2020 chairman of Gator Bowl Sports and will preside over all Gator Bowl Sports entities including the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl football game and game week events as well as Gator Bowl Charities youth initiatives.

Duce is a native of Gainesville and joined the Wells Fargo team through predecessor banks immediately following college.

His career brought him to Jacksonville in 1993. He is senior vice president of middle market banking.
