Most AMC Theatres will reopen July 15, according to its website.

Safety precautions will be in place. Auditorium capacity will be at 50%, in accordance with Florida’s phase two reopening guidelines.

There are three AMC Theatres locations in the area. AMC Regency 24 is at 9451 Regency Square Blvd.; AMC Orange Park 24 is at 1910 Wells Road; and AMC Classic Yulee 10 is at 96012 Lofton Square Court.

The website did not specify the opening dates for each theater, but that most would open July 15 and others would open in phases following local guidelines.

Masks will be required for guests and employees. They can be purchased at the theater for $1. Masks can be removed in the theater to eat and drink.

AMC will institute enhanced cleaning procedures, disinfecting high touch areas and using electrostatic disinfectant sprayers. Hand sanitizing stations will be available.

Social distancing will be in effect in theaters and throughout the building. Markers will be placed throughout as reminders.

The concession menu will be reduced to allow for faster service. Popcorn and fountain drink refills will not be available.

The theater won’t accept cash at the concession stand, but will be allowed at the box office. Guests also can purchase AMC gift cards with cash to buy food and drinks.
