Franklin Southern Manufacturing moved its headquarters June 1 to Deerwood Distribution Center.
NAI Hallmark announced June 2 that Franklin Southern Manufacturing, at 8500 Baycenter Road, No. 2, is leasing 75,664 square feet of space from EastGroup Properties Inc.
Deerwood Distribution Center is west of Interstate 95 and east of Philips Highway, about 1½ miles south of Butler Boulevard.
Franklin Southern Manufacturing is a steel and aluminum metal product manufacturing company.
The lease was arranged by NAI Hallmark Principal Patrick Thornton, Vice President Jason Purdy and Associate Camden Padgett. They represented EastGroup in the transaction.
“For a steel and aluminum metal product manufacturing company to expand by more than six times the size of their current facility is a positive sign of the resurgence of local manufacturing in our country,” Purdy said in a news release.
Franklin Southern Manufacturing was in Jacksonville Beach.
The Deerwood Distribution Center is a 130,000-square-foot multitenant warehouse facility.
