Work starting on Danone’s $65 million Northwest Jacksonville addition

The city issued a permit Dec. 6 for work on the main building for the production line expansion.

Construction has started for Danone North America’s $65 million production line addition at its Northwest Jacksonville plant.

The city issued a permit Dec. 6 for R.C. Stevens Construction Co. of Winter Garden to make renovations to the 102,033-square-foot main building at 2198 W. Beaver St. at a cost of $7.5 million. 

It comes after the city approved site work in December 2022 by R.C. Stevens and approved a permit in July for Jacksonville-based Auld & White Constructors LLC to build a pump room.
