The city issued a permit May 11 for construction of a 2,325-square-foot shell building for Chipotle Mexican Grill and drive-thru on an acre at 9172 Baymeadows Road at southwest Baymeadows Road and Western Way at a project cost of $1.425 million.
Premier American Construction Inc. of Green Cove Springs is the contractor for the project at a job cost of $1.425 million.
The city also is reviewing a permit application for Chipotle Mexican Grill to build-out within the shell restaurant at an estimated cost of $225,00.
Florida Retail Group LLC of Neptune Beach is the landlord.
