In a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, new owners took control of The Felix apartments in South Jacksonville on Dec. 9.
The 280-unit community is at 11723 Wells Creek Parkway at Philips Highway about 1.3 miles southeast of Florida 9B.
Walton Street Capital in Chicago took over the property through WSFB Felix Owner LLC.
The property was conveyed by ApexOne Investment Partners of Houston through Felix Jacksonville Owner LLC.
The loan with accrued interest is valued at $67.35 million. ApexOne bought the property in May 2022 for $65.81 million.
The apartments were built on 19.07 acres in 2021. Property records show a clubhouse and six four-story buildings.
The community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units with one and two baths. They are 610 to 1,443 square feet. Monthly rents are $1,777 to $3,138, according to apartments.com.
Amenities include detached garages, screened-in patios, a putting green, keyless home entry locks, pet play area, clubhouse, lounge, conference rooms, pool, fitness center and grill.
