Burgers and Model Ts are on their way to the Beachwalk master planned community after St. Johns County issued a permit for auto-themed restaurant Ford’s Garage to build there.
The permit lists the project cost at $3.1 million for the 7,438-square-foot restaurant at 450 County Road 210, about 2 miles east of Interstate 95 in front of Lowe’s. Riverview-based Ken Franklin Homes is the contractor.
It will be the second Ford’s Garage location in the county. The other is at 550 Outlet Mall Blvd., Suite 200, at Bozard Ford Lincoln.
Boca Raton Twin Creeks SPE LLC owns the Beachwalk site. LevelUp Consulting of Tampa is the civil engineer.

Beachwalk, developed by Boca Raton-based Falcone Group starting in 2017, includes residential neighborhoods, retail improvements and a 14-acre “lagoon” that serves as a private pool. A Compass Hotel by Margaritaville that will include cottages is planned in the community and is under county review.
JEA approved a service availability request for the project in September 2024 that proposed 282 seats. The county began its permit application review process the following month.
According to fordsgarageusa.com, the restaurant’s decor features vintage Ford vehicles, antique gas pumps and period fixtures, enhancing the “Prohibition-style” atmosphere.

The menu offers options that include Black Angus beef and meatloaf, as well as salads and grilled chicken and fish. Beverage offerings include craft, draft and bottled beers, wine, cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks.
Hours vary by location.
Ford’s Garage first opened in downtown Fort Myers in 2012, not far from Henry Ford’s winter residence.
According to fordsgarageusa.com, there are 35 Ford’s Garage locations, including in Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Texas and Virginia.
The chain is part of 23 Restaurant Services, headquartered in Tampa.
