Foxtail Coffee Co. is moving forward with plans for a Ponte Vedra Beach store in the Publix-anchored Shoppes of Palm Valley.
St. Johns County issued a build-out permit June 4 at a project cost of $289,749.
The 1,200-square-foot shop is at 3777 Palm Valley Road, Unit 201. The shopping center is off Mickler Road, about a mile west of Florida A1A.
Rhodes Building Co. of Longwood is the contractor.
The coffee chain signed a lease April 15. Riley Skinner of Skinner Bros. Realty represented Foxtail Coffee. Stephanie McCullough and Annie O’Steen of SRS Real Estate Partners represented the property owner.
Other Shoppes of Palm Valley tenants include Wok N Roll, Vicenzo’s Cucina, Palm Valley Family Dentistry and Shores Liquor, which received a build-out permit March 26.
FBP Development P.V. LLC of Ocala owns the property.
According to foxtailcoffee.com, its Northeast Florida locations include Sawgrass Village in Ponte Vedra Beach; King Street and Silverleaf in St. Augustine; Palms at Gate Parkway and San Marco in Jacksonville; and Wildlight in Nassau County.
Stores coming soon include Jacksonville Beach and Palm Valley.
Signage in Murray Hill in Jacksonville shows a location is planned there across from Wok N Roll.
The company website says it has 87 locations in Florida, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada.
