Traffic Materials Supplier buys 20.49-acre commercial site in Elevation Pointe for $7.1 million

The St. Augustine-based company makes geothermal pavement marking materials.

St. Augustine-based Traffic Materials Supplier bought 20.49 acres of undeveloped commercial property in St. Johns County on May 19 for $7.1 million. The property is in Elevation Pointe south of Agricultural Center Drive. Interstate 95 borders the land to the east.

Burkhardt Distributing Co. Inc. sold 20.49 acres of undeveloped commercial property in St. Johns County on May 19 for $7.1 million.

The property is in Elevation Pointe south of Agricultural Center Drive. Interstate 95 borders the land to the east.

St. Augustine-based Traffic Materials Supplier, a manufacturer of geothermal pavement marking materials, bought the land through AG Center Holdings II LLC. 

Traffic Materials Supplier is at 390 Industrial Drive, west of the purchased property.

Burkhardt Distributing Co. Inc., which is affiliated with Burkhardt Sales & Service, is the former Anheuser-Busch distributor in Gainesville and St. Augustine. The company ceased operations in 2023.

Elevation Pointe is a mixed-use development along Florida 16 that includes retail, apartments and town homes.

Burkhardt’s former warehouse at 3935 Inman Road in St. Augustine sold July 1, 2024, to Rulon International for about $10.5 million.
