7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee, a chain headquartered in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is moving forward on its first St. Johns County store.
Its permit application is under review with the county.
According to county records, the coffee chain initiated discussions in February with the county about its expansion plan.
The 510-square-foot shop with a dual drive-thru is planned at Florida 16 and Elevation Parkway in the Elevation Pointe development west of St. Augustine Premium Outlets. CEI Engineering Associates is listed as the project engineer. Cornerstone Collard Augustine is the landowner.
According to 7brew.com, the company operates 531 shops and offers coffee, infused energy drinks, Italian sodas, smoothies, shakes, teas and more.
There are two 7 Brew locations in Jacksonville, at 7788 Normandy Blvd. and 3264 Gerona Drive East. A third at 6730 103rd St. is under construction.
A discussion with the St. Johns County development review committee, which is mandatory for building permit approval, has not been scheduled.
