Clay County is reviewing plans for an Ellianos Coffee dual drive-thru location in Oakleaf Plantation.

The shop is proposed off of Oakleaf Plantation Parkway north of Ivory Crossing and Clay County Fire Rescue Station 26. It would be the third Ellianos in Clay County.

Other county locations are at 301 Blanding Blvd. in Orange Park and 2578 County Road 220 in Middleburg.

Ellianos Coffee is planned in the Orange Park Oakleaf Plantation area.

Gainesville-based JBPro is the civil engineer. Trinity Baptist Church of Jacksonville owns the property.

The Clay County Development Review Committee is scheduled to discuss the plans Nov. 20.

In addition to hot and iced coffee drinks, Ellianos serves frozen beverages, smoothies, shakes, refreshers, tea and energy drinks.

Food items vary by location. They include breakfast bowls, sandwiches, bagels, pastries, lunch sandwiches with chips, and snacks.

Daily hours also vary, opening from 6-8 a.m. and closing from 6-9 p.m.

Ellianos, which franchises, has locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. In April, it announced plans for Mississippi locations.

In St. Augustine, an Ellianos shop is under construction. Another is under review in Baker County in the Winn-Dixie-anchored Macclenny Shopping Center.

The company was established in 2002 by entrepreneurs Scott and Pam Stewart in Lake City.
