Diane’s Marketplace shopping center in St. Augustine sold for $12.5 million

SITE Centers, an Ohio-based real estate investment company, bought the property built in 2017.

The Diane’s Marketplace shopping center in St. Augustine sold Sept. 24 for $12.5 million.

The 2.76-acre property at 833 S. Ponce de Leon Blvd. is a block west of the San Sebastian River.

Built in 2017, it comprises two buildings totaling 26,161 square feet.

Anchored by Diane’s Natural Market, additional tenants include Jersey Mike’s Subs, Orangetheory Fitness and Calico Cactus, a breakfast and lunch taco concept from Scott Moore, co-founder and former CEO of Maple Street Biscuit Co.

The seller is Sano Vita LLC of St. Augustine. 

The buyer is SITE Centers Corp. of Beachwood, Ohio, through Cl Ponce De Leon Plaza Fl LLC.

SITE Centers is a public real estate investment trust that owns open-air shopping centers located primarily in suburban, high-household income communities.

In Florida, SITE also owns the Shoppes at Paradise Pointe in Fort Walton Beach. It sold the Winter Garden Village shopping center in Orlando in August for $165 million.
