Aimee Ford is the new chief revenue officer for Jacksonville-based Nymbus.

The banking technology company announced Ford’s appointment in an April 7 news release, saying she brings experience from credit unions, regional banks and community financial institutions.

According to the release, Ford most recently served as head of sales for a business process outsourcing firm.

“Joining Nymbus feels like coming full circle,” Ford said in the release.

“I started my career as a teller in a credit union and have spent years inside the institutions Nymbus serves. I understand the pressure to grow deposits, lead teams, and compete in a rapidly evolving market.”

Ford succeeds Nate Whaley, who is retiring. Whaley called Ford “exactly the right leader for this moment.”

“She understands our clients not just as a sales professional, but as someone who has lived on their side of the table,” Whaley said in the release.

“The business is strong, the pipeline is strong, and I’m leaving this role with complete confidence in what comes next.”

In 2025, Nymbus completed PeoplesBank’s conversion to the company’s Nymbus Banking Platform of integrated software. The release said PeoplesBank was the largest community bank to convert to a cloud-native core banking platform.

The company said it also partnered with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union on Pillur, a digital-first credit union designed for small and medium-size businesses.
