Cavender’s Boot City, a Texas-based western wear retail chain, has plans to expand its brick-and-mortar footprint to Orange Park and elsewhere in Florida.

In a news release, the company announced it would open stores at 249 Blanding Blvd. and in Brandon and Ocala. Cavender’s already operates one store in Orlando.

According to the release, inventory in the new stores will include cowboy hats, shirts, denim, dresses, belts and accessories. Available clothing lines include Ariat, Resistol and Wrangler alongside Cavender’s proprietary private-label brands, Rockin’ C, Rafter C and JRC & Sons.

Services such as boot fitting, boot stretching and hat shaping will be offered.

The brand will also introduce its My Cavender’s customer loyalty program to the new regional markets, offering incentives such as early access to sales and promotions, exclusive event invitations and hassle-free returns.

Cavender’s opened its first retail store in 1965 and its 130th this year, according to cavenders.com.
