The total-to-month for July is “sneaking up on 8,000,” according to Wolfe Jackson, The Resource Group. While that is not an all-time 12-month high, it suggests 2016 will top 2015 in permits issued in the four-county area. A comparison of year-to-date totals also is encouraging. From January 2015 through July 2015, 3,738 permits had been pulled. This year, that number is 4,939.
