Permit activity for October continues an upward trend for the four-county area consisting of Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. The past 12 months’ total-to-month of 6,421 is the highest TTM rate since early 2008. Year-to-date numbers indicate activity in St. Johns and Duval is roughly equivalent at 2,289 and 2,011, respectively, and Clay and Nassau are also ahead of last year with 722 and 607, respectively.
