• Dubbed “A Ferry Big Party,” the Ferry Fest to celebrate and raise awareness for the St. Johns River Ferry will be 1-9 p.m. Saturday at Mayport Village. Food trucks, live music and beverages will be among the entertainment and refreshments available. Efforts to raise funds and transfer the St. Johns River Ferry from the Jacksonville Port Authority to the City for continued service have been underway since February.
