• Mayor Alvin Brown will host former President Bill Clinton on May 11 at City Hall. Clinton, the nation’s 42nd president, will speak about jobs and the economy. “President Clinton has an unparalleled perspective on my priorities,” said Brown, a former senior adviser to Clinton. “With President Clinton’s innovative and creative insight on jobs and the economy, with a city government that lives within its means, with strong public-private partnerships, we are going to take Jacksonville to the next level.”
